Slow news week
After the rather awesome release of Desert Fox not much has happened on the H7 this week. A few little bits an pieces for you though.
Create Digital Music has a rather interesting article up on edIT of The Glitch Mob, he goes over his live set up. Well worth a read.
I attended Lo-Bit playground 12.0 and was blown away by Quarta330, Hally and Utabi. I wrote a review for True Chip, you can check out the the first part and the second part for details.
Finally, in theory, I should have a ten minute ish noisy track out on Hexawe complete with source files sometime in the not too distant future.
No commentsControl Freak - Desert Fox
For fans of the nascent Ethniglitch scene, the last few months have been akin to a long, dry, slow crawl through the blasted wastes of Northern Africa. Fear not though weary traveller, the oasis of distorted, sexy goodness that is Desert Fox is finally on the horizon. The H7 servers are braced for the onslaght of downloads.
Hit the discography page and get down my foxy brothers and sisters…
No commentsChaos Royale site relocation
Just a very quick note, in theory this shouldn’t effect anyone but we moved the Chaos Royale site to the H7 host. As far as we can tell everything is working just fine but if you notice any wierd behavior, broken links or anything, please let us know.

No commentsLazerbeat interviews
I write an irregular article for a Chip Music news website called True Chip Till Death where I interview various people connected to the Chip Music scene. Over the past couple of month I did a couple of realy interesting ones.
The first was with Ethan Bordeaux, the developer of the horribly underrated and very powerful PSP music app, PSPseq. You can get parts 1 & 2 of the the interview from TCTD. The second interview was with Marc Nostromo, dev of the excellent multiplatform tracker LGPT, again the first and second parts can be read at the same source. Hope you enjoy them.
Also, I heard the pre release versions of what will be H7011, Control Freak’s “Desert Fox” and it really is good. Hopefully it will go public this week…
No commentsNew CR masters.
When George “I can’t keep my hands off my “finished” work” Lucas fiddle with his work, we get ghastly horror for the most part. When Chaos “I can’t keep my hands off my “finished” work” Royale revisits older work we get yet another bunch of superlative stretchingly heavy remasters.
Lowrider gets new guitar tracks and Dragstalina is almost completely reworked with a mix more consistent with Luke’s current sound.
You know the drill!
No commentsUpdate: broken stuff fixed
Due to ongoing updates and the unholy adddition of Luke “how do I break everything?” Chaos to the H7 blogging crew, things have gotten a bit fucked up, especially the discography page. Everything should be working by tomorrow…
Discography page seems to be working OK now.
2 commentsChaos Royale, musical genius or gifted seer?
A few months back Luke Chaos flirted with a little more sexy in his mix than usual and birthed a disco masterpiece.
Fast forward a little to April 1st, Control Freak noticed a NiN prankster fooled the fans with Strobelight, a well crafted excercise in musical misdirection but check the track listing.
Something a little familiar perhaps?
No commentsA few changes in progress
You may notice a few changes over the next couple of weeks. We are adding some new funtionality to the site. Some of which, like the RSS and Paypal buttons. Twitter and demo submission are in a kind of beta state but stay tuned! Lots of new things should start happening soon.
